A Little Bit About Me
Past me and my experience
I am a clinical aromatherapist and registered nurse, I have a degree in community nursing. I have worked in a variety of NHS and private settings including community nursing, mainstream and special school nursing, sexual and reproductive health services, sexual assault referral centers and more recently in an NHS clinical commissioning group. I have a post graduate certificate in practice teaching, additional qualifications in health promotion and I qualified as an aromatherapist in 2012. Having combined a love of nursing with a passion for essential oils I launched Nurse by Nature in October 2019.
My aromatherapy services
As a qualified aromatherapist in aromatherapy techniques I am able to blend essential oils with a choice of carrier oils to create beautiful bespoke treatments. I am able to advise clients regarding the therapeutic qualities and benefits of essential oils and how to safely dilute and introduce them into the body. This may be by creating a bespoke essential oil product such as a body oil, moisture cream or gel for you to use at home or combining a body oil and massage treatment.
My personal touch
Having personal experience of endometriosis and the peri-menopause, I have developed a special interest in women’s health and the hormonal issues that can impact on everyday life. Having undertaken many hours of personal study and attended specialist training, I understand how essential oils can be used to support women’s hormonal and emotional health and well-being.
